A Stroll Through Stadtpark. The oldest public park in Vienna, designed in the style of English landscape gardens, the Stadtpark stretches over 28 acres of land in the city. The Wien River divides it into two, and visitors can use several small bridges to cross between the two sides.
Nevertheless, this park has everything that modern city park needs: lots of greenery, lawns, flowerbeds, a pond, a river (Vienna River with river gate, Wienflussportal, wonderfully decorated), fountains, notable monuments and plenty of room to walk, relax or exercise.
