   How much does it cost to rent a kayak at Sandy Bottom?

   • Haha they have alot of picnic table and a couple of shelters for parties or picnics Open normal hours during COVID, $4 for one hour kayak rental. Most boats will be only the $4/hr. Great place to kayak for the first time, esp with younger people; this particular trip pictured was the third time I was on the water at Sandy Bottom.

    Nov 2016. This park has a wonderful Nature Center with live animals. a meeting room, educational materials, and a some nice items for purchase. You can camp in little cabins by the lake, paddle board, hike, bird watch, and even take a guided tour led by a Park Ranger.
