Johnny Henderson Park is very well kept up. It has a running track that measures about 1.25 miles, a huge pond with ducks, a big playground for children, a splash pad for those hot summer days, covered picknick areas for parties, and a softball complex with 4 fields.

This is a lovely paved path inside a family park that also features playgrounds and an off-leash dog park. Accessibility: There are at least 8 designated accessible spaces in the large paved parking lots off of Rocky Head Road at the north end of the trail. All of them are van-accessible with striped access aisles.

There is a wonderful paved walking trail completely surrounding a large pond which has a beautiful fountain, a boardwalk bridge with a covered area, ducks, geese and fish in it. It also has a smaller paved trail surrounding the children's playgrounds so you can get your exercise done while keeping a constant eye on your children playing.
