Aug 27, 2023 · A true Colorado classic, driving the Mount Blue SKi Scenic Byway is a must-do. Personally, I find this to be a much more exciting drive than the schlep up Pikes Peak. With plenty of scenic stops and activities to do along the way, you’ll never be bored on Mt Blue Sky.

From Denver, you will gain 9,000 feet, so be prepared that it can be at least 30 degrees cooler on the summit of Mount Blue Sky, where snow can fall at any time, even in summer.
