Starting at the end of Front street near the footbridge in Belfast, the city has converted a rail line to a nice walking and biking path that borders the Passagassawakeag river. It is 2.3 miles one way, with a very slight grade upward, and ends at City Point near the Belfast and Moosehead Lake railroad station.

Description. This crushed gravel path follows along the Passagassawakeag River and through the woods. It is a very well-maintained trail leaving from just outside downtown Belfast.
