   When was Ashley creamery built?

   • The historic Ashley Creamery was built in 1919-20 by a farmers’ co-op milling company as a flour mill, but was never used for that. Due to market difficulties (mainly its inability to compete with a mill in nearby Danzig) its milling operations were never started up. Instead it was converted into a creamery in 1939.

   The Beth Itzhok Jewish cemetery is remote, isolated, near Ashley, N.D., a good 125 miles S.E. from Bismark. It is largely forgotten by most of the Jewish World.
