   • Originally based on the Lamington Plateau on the way to O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat, the Mountview Alpaca Farm relocated to our Vineyards in early 2017 after Cyclone Debbie.    Can you walk the alpacas?

   • It depends on the weather and conditions. The walk is through pastures, sometimes muddy conditions, woods and a somewhat rocky terrain. Usually a hiking boot or comfortable tennis shoes are fine. Sandals, flip flops and open toed shoes are not recommended. Can children walk the alpacas?
