Comanche. The Comanche / kəˈmæntʃi / or Nʉmʉnʉʉ ( Comanche: Nʉmʉnʉʉ, "the people" [3]) is a Native American tribe from the Southern Plains of the present-day United States. Comanche people today belong to the federally recognized Comanche Nation, headquartered in Lawton, Oklahoma.
