The Devil Rides Out, known as The Devil's Bride in the United States, is a 1968 British horror film, based on the 1934 novel of the same title by Dennis Wheatley. It was written by Richard Matheson and directed by Terence Fisher. The film stars Christopher Lee, Charles Gray, Niké Arrighi and Leon Greene .
Set in 1930s London and the South of England, Duc de Richleau and Rex van Ryn rescue their friend Simon Aron from a devil-worshipping cult. Rex falls in love with another initiate of the cult, Tanith.

A biplane lands in an airfield. Out gets Rex Van Ryn (Leon Greene) who is met by Nicholas, the Duc de Richleau (Christopher Lee). As they drive, they discuss that no-one has seen Simon Aron (Patrick Mower) recently so they decide to go to his house. At Simon's house there are a number of guests.

Despite Mocata eventually making Rex crash, he arrives at Mocata's house in time to hitch a life on the back of a departing car. At the Sabbat, Simon and Tanith look on as a goat is slaughtered. The so-called satanists gathered around are a nesh lot, and go "ooh..." and turn away as it happens.
