Premonition (予言, Yogen) is a 2004 Japanese horror film directed by Tsuruta Norio. Yogen is based on the manga Kyoufu Shinbun ("Newspaper of Terror") by Jirō Tsunoda, [2] serialized in Shōnen Champion in 1973. [3] The film is about a man who discovers a newspaper that predicts the future.
Synopsis. While stopped at a roadside phone booth for transmitting his work through Internet to the university, Professor Hideki Satomi finds a scrap of newspaper with the picture of his five year old daughter Nana in the obituary. He sees his wife Ayaka trying to release their daughter from the seatbelt, when a truck hits his car killing Nana.

Jan 25, 2024 · Plot. Assistant professor Hideki Satomi, his wife Ayaka and their five year-old daughter Nana are diving back home to Tokyo. He is working on a deadline and stops by a telephone booth to upload his work when he sees a newspaper that predicts that Nana will die in an accident at 8 pm – a few minutes away.
