TCM showed this under the American title, Finger of Guilt, but I love the more provocative and accurate British original, The Intimate Stranger. This Noir runs on slowly increasing paranoia, without many notable visual tricks until a marvelously lit and shot climax. It's clearly not a high budget film, but I was thoroughly intrigued!
