Two young friends find a magic book that brings a ventriloquist's dummy to life. Teenager Sarah Quinn (Madison Iseman) lives with her mother Kathy (Wendi McLendon-Covey) and younger brother Sonny (Jeremy Ray Taylor) in Wardenclyffe, New York. Sarah is attempting to get into Columbia University by writing an essay about fear.
This one's much better than the previous movie. I don't really understand how that dummy Slappy escaped when everyone went inside the book. And this makes him the greatest villian in Goosebumps. First of all, how did R L Stine escaped from the invisible man's revenge. Now I guess he will always be stuck in the book that Slappy has written.
