Save The Bay is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving San Francisco Bay and related estuarine habitat areas. It was founded by Catherine Kerr, Sylvia McLaughlin, and Esther Gulick in 1961.
Saving the Bay is the first television program to tell the full story of San Francisco Bay, the most important estuary of the Pacific Coast of the Americas and the second largest estuary on the North American continent after Chesapeake Bay.
