After her husband's death, 65-year-old Jordan Roosevelt (Cicely Tyson) struggles to find direction in her life. To keep her farm, she takes the advice of her friend, Sally (Starletta DuPois), and turns her home into a nursing facility for three women suffering from Alzheimer's disease. When Jordan decides to follow her lifelong dream to see the ocean, she finds a hidden jar full of money and embarks on a road trip to the coast, taking the three Alzheimer's patients along for the ride.
