The movie tells the story of a couple of weeks in their lives. These are the kinds of weeks when things can go either well or badly--and if they go badly, we sense, Tex could get his whole life off to the wrong start. The brothers are broke. Mason sells their horses to raise money to buy food and get the gas turned back on.
