Jan 5, 2000 · A thriller about deceit and the struggle for power within Eastern European mafia gangs living in exile in Sweden. Swedish fisherman Arne rescues a young Polish woman, Irena, after a mysterious incident at sea. Two people, both with a past, both determined never to fall in love again, are slowly drawn to each other.
En kvinna (Izabella Scorupco) hittas i vågorna på Östersjön av fiskaren Arne (Stefan Sauk) och hans besättning. Utan någon vetskap om kvinnans bakgrund, befinner sig helt plötsligt Arne på flykt undan två rivaliserande gangsterligor.
One moment he saw his dead wife in the depth, and a minute after that he was bleeding on the deck. It´s a shame, cause I had some problems following the story there. A large plus is that the scenery is fantastic, only that saved the movie from being a large disaster. For those who haven´t seen it, don´t.
