"Making The Rules," aka "Abby in the Summer," represents everything wrong with indie dramas. It tries to be "realer" and more "artistic" than all those mainstream dramas, but actually just produces a 4.5 million dollar pile of shit where Robin Thicke is unironically the best part about it.
Making The Rules. When Sous Chef Abby is injured on the job and can't work for the summer, her boredom is alleviated by the temptation of her ex-boyfriend Shaun. Rentals include 30 days to start watching this video and 48 hours to finish once started.
