The night before his wedding, musician Eric Draven (Brandon Lee) and his fiancée are brutally murdered by members of a violent inner-city gang. On the anniversary of their death, Eric rises from the grave and assumes the gothic mantle of the Crow, a supernatural avenger.
May 13, 1994 · A rock star named Eric Draven (Lee) is murdered, along with his fiancee, on the eve of their wedding. His soul is escorted to the next world (according to the narration) by a crow; but when a spirit is unhappy there because of unsettled business on earth, sometimes the crow will bring him back again.
On the anniversary of their death, Eric rises from the grave and assumes the mantle of the Crow, a supernatural avenger. A poetic guitarist Eric Draven is brought back to life by a crow a year after he and his fiancée are murdered.
