The Family Secret begins with a man fleeing the scene after accidently killing his friend. He can't hide the crime from his parents, and by a twist of fate his lawyer father ends up defending the man falsely accused. It's an interesting premise, but the film largelly squanders it by proceeding down the least interesting paths it can find.
