Oct 6, 2003 · Lifetime's spine-tingling Original Movie is inspired by DeLong's harrowing real-life experiences in the field. DeLong (Jean Smart) is on the verge of retiring from the FBI so that she can spend more time with her son, when a serial rapist and murderer attacks one of her best friends.
After catching a child abuser at the train station Candice DeLong really struggles with the abuse she witnesses as well as all the other crimes and decides to resign from the FBI right in the middle of a serial killer case. But the serial killer on discovering that Candice has resigned targets her friend in order to draw her back into the case.
