Underground club owner, Nova (Leslie Zemeckis) and her boyfriend Zed (Michael Sutton) are in serious trouble - corrupt police captain Moxie has demanded that they make good on her rock singer sister Zoë's heavy debts but they don't have the money. Moxie ruthlessly announces he will kill them if they can't pay. Zed suggests a way out to Nova.
