  5. Red Canyon is just outside of Panguitch, Utah, and only a few minutes from Bryce Canyon City on highway 12. It is part of the Dixie National Forest. It is a great collection of hoodoos and other rock formations. There is a nice visitor center and the area is run by the National Forest Service.
