CBS adaptation of Stephen King novel stars Whoopi Goldberg

There are few authors that have had as many of their novels brought to the small and big screen as Stephen King - and now we have yet another adaptation of his works to enjoy, courtesy of a new CBS TV retelling of The Stand starring Whoopi Goldberg and Alexander Skarsgård. It debuted in 2020 on the network with more new episodes getting released in the new year this January. Read on as we explain how to watch The Stand online and stream the series wherever you are in the world right now.
For those abroad on business or getting some winter sun when The Stand lands, you’ll be unable to watch the miniseries due to annoying regional restrictions.

The release date for episode 3 of The Stand is Thursday, January 7; episode 4 is out on January 14; and so on.

The show's broadcast rights in the country were snapped up by the Starz network and so it's being shown on its StarzPlay streaming service.
New episodes are released weekly every Sunday, following the show's UK premiere on Sunday, January 3
The StarzPlay app is available to download on your Android and Apple device and is also available on most Android TVs as well as being compatible with Google Chromecast. You can also watch StarzPlay content through Amazon Prime Video.
