Undine is young, but has an old, mythical name. In the myth, she lives in a forest lake, a beautiful, virginal nymph. A man who steps onto the shore of the lake and calls her name becomes her wife. If the man betrays love, he must die - Undine will kill him.
A man named Johannes ( Jacob Matschenz) and a woman named Undine ( Paula Beer) sit at a café. He’s met someone else. After wiping a tear from her face, she tells him that he has no choice—he can’t leave her. If he refuses, she’ll have to kill him.
