Jul 27, 2018 · Ethan Hunt ( Tom Cruise) has to get the plutonium back, but there’s a ghost haunting him in the form of Solomon Lane ( Sean Harris ), the villain from the last film who Hunt left alive instead of killing.
Under the leadership of a mysterious fundamentalist known only as John Lark, the organization is planning on acquiring three plutonium cores. Ethan and his team are sent to Berlin to intercept them, but the mission fails when Ethan saves Luther and the Apostles escape with the plutonium.
When an IMF mission ends badly, the world is faced with dire consequences. As Ethan Hunt takes it upon himself to fulfill his original briefing, the CIA begin to question his loyalty and his motives.
