Cornelis is a 2010 Swedish biographical drama film directed by Amir Chamdin, about the life of the musician Cornelis Vreeswijk. The soundtrack of the film was composed by Cornelis' son Jack Vreeswijk . Vreeswijk is portrayed by Hans Erik Dyvik Husby, also known as Hank Von Helvete, former lead singer in the Norwegian rock band Turbonegro.

The film does shine some light to it but seems like Cornelis himself was a fairly standard trubadur in my neighbouring country. The story is pretty basic and Cornelis' music didn't make a big impression on me. Actually, now that I think about the whole film is quite impactless. It has a plain look and feel to it, no original style.
