  2. May 2, 2013 · The Extincts was an enjoyable read but after laughing genuinely in the first chapter, I wasn't really struck by the humour of the book. The plot was a bit too much with all the legendary/magical creatures and though the story was fast-paced, the repetitive scheme made it drag on most times.
