There Riccardi offers her a job impersonating a Russian countess in his style emporium. While she is fighting off suitors, Jimmy becomes successful with his automobile invention; but when he returns to find Tessie wealthy in gowns he accuses her of being "manhandled." Repenting her mistake, she is forgiven when he realizes her true feelings.
