Overall Turkey Shoot holds up as an entertaining popcorn flick and with its blend of extreme violence and lovable characters (for the most part, villain-wise anyway) makes a entirely watchable exploitation movie.

Turkey Shoot is a viscerally charged exploitation odyssey. With sprinkles of sci fi and fantasy it separates itself as a unique slice of post apocalyptic cinema. With undertones of campy carnage and cartoonish characters it also feels like some long lost 80s live action adventure series.
