An American Tail: Fievel Goes West is the second film following An American Tail. It is set chronologically fourth in the in-series timeline. The film was not directed by Don Bluth, but was instead directed by Phil Nibbelink and Simon Wells. It is the first Amblimation film, for Universal Studios and Amblin Entertainment.
Summaries. Fievel's family decides to move out to the West, unaware that they are falling into a trap perpetrated by a smooth-talking cat. Some time after the Mousekewitz's have settled in America, they find that they are still having problems with the threat of cats.
