  4. Dec 5, 2017 · I went back to watch it again and again and every time I saw another meaning for the various situations. Even though the film was in French with English subtitles, it was on for 2 full years. It's an adaptation of an American novel by Jim Thompson: 1275 Souls. To this day, it's one of my favorite.
