What does the dark mist even do? it's good to thicken, but you can regret it if you go against trapper, pig, and sometimes wraith. as it can be hard to spot pig and wraith in the mist, and traps are ever present with trapper which are harder to spot. Not really hard to see killers even in thick fog.

Any other killer wants to lighten the mist - the hillbilly and trapper can't hide from survivors, due to heartbeat, fast movement, their eyes and audio cues. Survivors tend to thicken the mist because it's much harder to spot them

Jul 3, 2016 · What is the Dark Mist? Some item descriptions (such as the clear reagent) mention the 'Dark Mist'. Is this just altering the in-game visibility for Survivors, or does the Dark Mist have other effects (like, does it alter the random chance to have survivors together or apart)?
