Os Bandeirantes plot. A diamond seeker wants revenge in Brazil for the assassination attempt on his colleagues. His introduction to the simple life of the Brazilians results in a change of mentality, which gradually gives him more peace of mind. But whether it's enough to deter him from his revenge attempt remains to be seen.

In Brazil, a diamond prospector sets out in pursuit of a thief who has robbed him and left him for dead. Along the way, he meets one of his adversary's former mistresses and tries to extract some information from her.
The movie -- I don't remember whether as such it deserved a high rating -- left an indelible impression on me. Until this day I relish the samba, the bossa nova, and artists like Caetano Veloso, Maria Bethania, Gilberto Gil, and all others (too many to mention). "Os Bandeirantes", for what it's worth, fueled the interest.
