Lily Covington (played by Natalie) who is nanny to a white little boy name Michael Towler (Bonsall) who start to like Lily very much. So Lily and Michael run away to go to Alabama in 1957, but don't weary they will come back.
Set in the 1950s, a New York African-American housekeeper becomes a reluctant accessory to a crime, and is unjustly accused of kidnapping her young white charge when she and the boy suddenly disappear.
