May 30, 2023 · At the beginning of my career, I made a film called Raat (1992) with Revathi. Bhoot was pretty much a remake of Raat in a sense. In Raat, there was a father-daughter relationship between Akash Khurana and Revathi, which we turned into a husband-wife relationship with Ajay Devgn and Urmila for Bhoot. The plot more-or-less follows the same pattern.
