The Hangover Part III is a 2013 American action comedy film and the sequel to The Hangover Part II (2011), both produced by Legendary Pictures and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. It is the third installment in The Hangover trilogy.
The Hangover Part III: Directed by Todd Phillips. With Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Justin Bartha. When one of their own is kidnapped by an angry gangster, the Wolf Pack must track down Mr. Chow, who has escaped from prison and is on the run.
On the way to Arizona, Phil's minivan is rammed off the road by a rental truck and the group is taken hostage. They are later confronted by mob leader Marshall (John Goodman) and "African American Doug" (Mike Epps), his head of security.

May 23, 2013 · “The Hangover Part III” plays more like a caper film — “Alan’s Eleven,” perhaps — than a comedy. While Phillips ably handles the action sequences, he and co-screenwriter Craig Mazin can’t juggle both genres in the screenplay.
The Hangover Part III. COMEDY. It's been two years. Phil, Stu and Doug are happily living uneventful lives at home. Tattoos have been lasered off, files purged. The guys have nearly recovered from their roofie'd nights of Las Vegas and being kidnapped, shot at, and chased by mobsters in Bangkok.
