High school senior Eric Matthews (Derek Rydall) sneaks his girlfriend, Melody Austin (Kari Whitman), into his house late at night to find a letter from land developers demanding that his parents sell their home to make way for a new shopping mall.
Phantom of the Mall: Eric's Revenge One night, as high school sweethearts Eric Matthews and Melody Austin dance in Eric's bedroom to their special song, a raging inferno sweeps the house. Eric shoves Melody through a broken window, but he becomes trapped by a tumbling bookcase.
A young man named Eric apparently dies in a suspicious house fire after saving his girlfriend, Melody. One year later, a new mall is constructed atop where Eric's house once stood, where a shadowy, uninvited guest is preying on the mall's crooked developers.
