Crazy Town (sometimes abbreviated as CXT) is an American rap rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1995 by Bret "Epic" Mazur and Shifty Shellshock (Seth Brooks Binzer). Their 2000 single "Butterfly", reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and helped their debut album, The Gift of Game (1999), sell over 1.6 million units.

Crazy Town is a 1932 Fleischer Studios Talkartoon animated short film featuring Betty Boop. [1] Synopsis. Betty and Bimbo take a trip to Crazy Town for a small vacation where anything can happen. Spin named "Butterfly" as the 13th best nu metal song. "Butterfly" was featured in Metal Hammer's"The Top 40 Best Nu Metal Songs Ever Made" list and ranked at #18.
The song's music video, directed by Honey, shows the band in a fantastical forest full of butterflies. Shifty Shellshock and Epic Mazur sing praises to two women with butterfly wings. At one point in the video, Shifty's star-shaped tattoos fly off into the air.
