has been traumatized by the terrible events plaguing her life. First, her father, Cameron York, went to prison for perpetrating a Ponzi scheme. The family lost their home (below). Her mother, Sophia York, couldn't cope, turned to drugs, and OD'ed. Paige found her, but not soon enough to save her life. Then, Cameron, after being released from prison, asks his daughters for some start up money, for a new venture. When they refuse, he shoots himself, and again, it's Paige who finds him. Paige is never the same. She becomes fixated on a man who reminds her of her father. Even his house awakens her memories of her lost family home from a happier time.

There is a picture of Dr. Emery's family on his desk, but the woman in the photo is NOT Gabby (Sydney Penny). They clearly either changed actresses, or forgot to take the picture with Sydney Penny (Gabby Emery), and just used a stand-in. The woman looks nothing like Sydney Penny. It is confusing to see Dr. Emery looking longingly at his wife's photo, but the woman he's looking at is not his wife.
When Paige is watching Lucas & Gabby's wedding video, they look the same as they do now, yet their daughter is 13. It would have been better if they had picked young actors that looked like them instead.

I'm not sure why Gabby couldn't still have sex with her husband. She says she has little feeling on her left side, but I'm not sure why that would prevent her from sleeping in the same bed as her husband, or from having sex with him.
