During the Great War, Lili Smith, a popular singer with London audiences, acts as a German agent. Her assignment, relayed by superior Kurt von Ruger, is to develop a friendship with American officer Maj. William Larrabee. While in France to receive the Legion of Honor award for patriotism, Lili meets the flier.
