Odette Sansom (Anna Neagle) is a spy tapped by the Special Operations Executive in England to travel undercover to France and assist the French Resistance. She arrives safely but, despite the help of another secret agent, Captain Peter Churchill (Trevor Howard), soon falls into a trap set by German operative Colonel Henri (Marius Goring).
