Astero (hydrogel plus lidocaine HCl 4%) is a non-wetting water gel plus a topical anesthetic indicated for painful wounds such as stage I-IV pressure ulcers, venous stasis ulcers, ulcerations caused by mixed vascularetiologies, diabetic skin ulcers, first- and second-degree burns, post-surgical incisions, and cuts and abrasions.
