May 22, 1981 · Synopsis by Hal Erickson. The Four Seasons follows the trials and tribulations of a group of middle-aged friends during a 12-month period. Alan Alda (who also directed) and Carol Burnett play a married couple who consider themselves paragons of sensitivity and sensibility.
Nice little film written and directed by Alda, starring him and Carol Burnett. Told over four seasons, each representing a vacation with a group of couples, Alda is able to intersperse some good drama and comedy in this entertaining film. Whether intentional or not, the poster is kinda hilarious.
