Overall 2 Lava 2 Lantula is a definite watch for fans of the first but if this is the direction these movies will go then best stop here. The Good: Still do like me some flamey spiders. One particularly horrific death scene. Martin Kove is excellent as always. The Bad: Guttenberg is deeply annoying this time round. Things I learnt from this movie:

Apr 27, 2018 · Lavalantula emerged with enjoyable results but 2 Lava 2 Lantula feels like a copy of Sharknado that has been made on a cut-price budget and with much shittier effects. The first film felt like it was made by people who cared about the genre but by the time of the sequel this has been replaced by people who are just generating filler product.
Recommendations. Terrordactyl. Big Bad. SheBorg. Bigfoot Vs. Zombies. Zoombies. Sharkenstein. Colton West must defeat the lavalantulas once again.
Review by Brett Petersel ★ 1 This was brutal. I'll be honest and say that I couldn't give 100% to this film because it's just terrible, but also because one of my 80s heroes, Steve Guttenberg, looks like he was struggling throughout, wondering where his fame went.
