Stir of Echoes (1999) was a Fantastic Film. This one though, is an above average TV Movie that is OK in its own right if comparisons to the first Film are ignored. Rob Lowe gives an acceptable outing as the afflicted Iraq War Vet that has PTSD by way of Hell, not the War.

Dec 22, 2007 · It's a shame that Ernie Barbarash's Stir of Echoes: The Homecoming, an unattached sequel to the previous narrative, doesn't share the same energy. Instead of absorbing the claustrophobic voices of incensed apparitions, this follow-up falls flat in its thematic attempts at paranormal shock and awe.
