Welcome To The Sticks. Philippe Abrams is the director of a post office in the southern France. He's married to Julie, whose depressed state makes life impossible. To make her happy, Philippe plots to get transferred to the French Riviera. But it backfires, and he is transferred to Bergues, a small town in northern France, instead.
A French post office administrator is banished to the far North of France, where he faces prejudices, cold weather and a love triangle. He learns to appreciate the region and its people, while lying to his family and friends in the South.
