Mar 11, 2008 · Millions of years ago, beneath a mountain plateau on a planet in a distant galaxy, a group of Alterans debate how to prevent a war with their fellow Alterans – the fanatical Ori. One device – the Ark of Truth – could make people believe the truth as the Alterans see it. Amelius, creator of the Ark, has programmed it with the truth about the Ori.
The ark's infectious truth has spread to the ships. Back on Earth, General Landry returns the captive prior's staff, then exposes him to the ark. The staff communicates the truth to the priors in the Ori ships that are poised to attack, and the Earth is saved.
Synopsis. SG-1 heads to the Ori galaxy to locate the Ark of Truth, an Alteran device which will convince those that follow the Ori that they are not gods. An IOA operative joins the mission only to use the Asgard Computer core to create a Replicator as a plan to take out the Ori forces.
