After British industrialist Stanley Palmer (Clarence Kolb) and his assistant go missing from a plane crash, Palmer's daughter, Nancy (Elaine Shepard), receives a note demanding ransom for his return, and she contacts suave detective Tom Lawrence (Tom Conway), known as the Falcon, to investigate. Palmer's niece, Iris (Jean Brooks), confides to Tom that Nancy's fiancé may be inadvertently involved in the disappearance.
