Two North Country young women, plain Brenda and flamboyant Yvonne, arrive in London and head immediately for the mod scene on Carnaby Street to find fame and fortune. They are misdirected and end up eating at a workman's cafe. Their money is stolen, and Yvonne runs off, leaving Brenda to wash a mountain of dishes.
