  3. Jan 25, 2021 · An elliptical, under-the-influence-type picture, Crazy Six is a weird, vibey hangout flick; a Pyun joint for those who jive with his more openly experimental and arty opuses a la Deceit (1990), Nemesis 4: Cry of Angels (1996), and Omega Doom (1996) rather than, say, his more regularly presented — but no less surreal — epics, Nemesis (1992 ...

Recently, Rob Lowe starred in a handful of DirecTV commercials. Edit them together and those ads make more coherent sense than the 90 painful minutes of Crazy Six. Without the box art and included plot description, there’s no making sense of this incoherent slobber. Lowe stars as a junkie gangster, nabbing some plutonium which hardly seems relevant...

Of course something as insufferable as Crazy Sixlooks outstanding on Blu-ray. From MVD’s Marquee Collection, the high-res, modern scan pulls out a perfect grain structure. Behind it, absolute clarity and sharpness. Powerful fidelity makes full use of the repetitious close-ups used to tell (not well) this story. Facial definition fills the frame, wi...

Honestly, I didn't really have high expectations for this movie, but at the same time I was hopeful. Having it be directed by Albert Pyun - a well known b-movie auteur - didn't exactly raise my hopes.

  7. Aug 29, 2018 · A direct-to-video release, Crazy Six is a dreadful film with little redeeming value. Even the impressive cast doesn’t elevate the proceedings, making it a thorough waste of time. Bonus materials on the widescreen R-rated Blu-ray release are theatrical trailers from Black Eagle, Lionheart, Walking Tall, and the Albert Pyun-directed Blast.
